
A Civil Society Agenda for the OECD
26 January 2010 - Ahead of two key OECD meetings on taxation, CIDSE, together with 26 other civil society organizations, has published "A civil society agenda for the OECD" accompanied by a letter to OECD Secretary General Angel Gurria. Because of its expertise in the matter of tax administration and cooperation the OECD is an important actor for civil society organizations to support developing countries to raise their own revenue for development, including through enhanced cooperation to combat tax evasion.Read More...

15 January 2010 - In a booklet prepared by its working group on Palestine/Israel, in the hope to correct some of the most negative sterotypes and misconceptions about Gaza, CIDSE collects voices from partners and ordinary people who speak about their experiences, fears and hopes. Good news from the Gaza Strip is rare. The media talk of dire poverty, violent conflict and growing radicalisation. Automatic Exchange of Tax Information Workhop
13 January 2010 - Together with partners ActionAid, Eurodad, and Plate-Forme paradis fiscaux et judiciaires, CIDSE organised a workshop on the automatic exchange of tax information. Purpose of the workshop was to explore pros and cons of the automatic exchange of tax information and to try and find answers to a range of questions including how developing countries can benefit from it.Read More...
