CIDSE welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the 5-6 October 2009 Office of the High ommissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR) Consultation on Business and Human Rights: Operationalizing the ‘Protect, Respect, Remedy’ Framework. This statement highlights a number of key issues which we believe are particularly pertinent to the present multistakeholder consultation and the future direction of the Special Representative’s work.
