Work programme of the UN Working Group on Business & Human Rights

CIDSE has followed the work of the UN Special Representative for Human Rights and Transnational Corporations and Other Business Enterprises throughout the 2005-11 mandate.  Recognizing that for many affected communities the UN process has yet to deliver concrete improvements, we called for a strong follow-up mechanism in order to build successfully upon the work of Professor Ruggie’s mandate. CIDSE welcomes the opportunity to share our views and expectations regarding the future work of the United Nations Working Group on business and human rights.
