Devoir de vigilance des multinationales : un pas de plus vers l’adoption définitive de la loi

Le 29 novembre 2016, les députés ont adopté en nouvelle lecture, la proposition de loi sur le devoir de vigilance des sociétés mères et entreprises donneuses d’ordre. Si la société civile espérait une loi plus ambitieuse, ce texte - qui a connu un parcours législatif mouvementé depuis trois ans - représente une avancée importante face à l’impunité des multinationales en termes de respect des droits humains et de l’environnement. Nos organisations saluent cette nouvelle version du texte et appellent le gouvernement à garantir son adoption définitive avant la fin de la mandature.

EU legislators concluded their negotiations on a new law on so-called ‘conflict minerals’—a Regulation which is meant to ensure that minerals entering the EU do not finance conflict or human rights violations.
