EU updates its position for Rio+20 negotiations

On 9 March, Environment Ministers adopted Council conclusions on the EU negotiating position for the June Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development. Governments meet in New York between 19-23 March for a first round of negotiations on the zero draft of the Rio+20 outcome document.
