The 7th Session of the Open-Ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Transnational Corporations and Other Business Enterprises with Respect to Human Rights will take place in Geneva from 25 to 29 October 2021.
Ahead of the beginning of the session, CIDSE is releasing its contribution to the debate and is making recommendations on the 3rd revised draft document of the Legally Binding Instrument to regulate, in international human rights law, the activities of transnational corporations and other business enterprises.
The coming session will be a key moment for the process towards shaping a UN Treaty that can bring value to global efforts towards protecting human rights from the effects of business activities and providing access to justice for affected people and communities.
