With the objective of raising the awareness in citizens and civil society on the issue of “citizens’ security” (seguridad ciudadana) in Central America, CIDSE, CIFCA and Grupo Sur have produced this short animated video addressing violence and insecurity in Central America and emphasizing the need to tackle it from an integral point of view and as a consequence of deeper problems that must be solved (poverty, inequality, corruption, impunity, etc.). At the end of the video some recommendations are addressed to the European Union. Enjoy the video and thank you for sharing it widely.

Con el objetivo de visibilizar y sensibilizar a la sociedad civil sobre la problemática de seguridad ciudadana en América Central, las redes CIDSE, CIFCA y Grupo Sur han elaborado un vídeo de animación sobre la temática donde se presentan algunos datos del contexto de violencia e inseguridad en Centro América y se destaca la necesidad de abordarlo desde un punto de vista integral y como causa de problemas más profundos que también deben ser solucionados (pobreza, desigualdad, corrupción, impunidad, etc). Al final del vídeo se presenta también algunas recomendaciones dirigidas a la Unión Europea. Que disfruten y que lo difundan ampliamente.
