    CIDSE will hold a conference on land grab with SECAM, AFJN and AEFJN in Nairobi/Kenya that will gather about 80 participants from the African continent.

    The conference will spotlight the growing problem of land grabs which poses special problems for the future of Africa.

    Topics approached will be: the state of land grabbing in Africa, the spirituality of land in African culture, Policies – international, regional, national promoting or facilitating land grab and cases of resistance across Africa to highlight successes and challenges, Church responses to land grabbing, what is done on the ground.
