Mineral sourcing: Will EU law change things for people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?

In March, the European Commission proposed legislation that aims to prevent European companies’ mineral purchases from financing conflict or human rights abuses. Mgr. Maroy, Archbishop of Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo), visited Brussels and spoke about whether EU legislation can bring changes for the good of humanity.
