Shoot for #1o5C! Civil society organisations demand stronger action on climate change that empowers women and girls

 5 June, Brussels. On the occasion of the European Development Days (EDD) and World Environment Day, CARE International, CIDSE, Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe, ACT Alliance, WWF and GenderCC will organise an action encouraging EDD delegates to advocate for increased climate ambition and to promote sustainable development options to tackle climate change and gender inequalities. The organisations will ask incoming delegates to demonstrate their football skills and shoot to score for climate action in line with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C temperature limit.

EDD Conference badge not needed.

WHO
