Development and Peace – Caritas Canada launches thematic analysis “Let’s Demystify Agroecology” (Available in EN/FR)
Agroecology is the science and practical knowledge behind sustainable agriculture. Based on peasant farming knowledge and practices, agroecology is a holistic approach to food production. It is a scientific discipline, a set of farming practices and a social movement. Development and Peace’s new thematic analysis is aimed at demystifying agroecology and showing how this approach supports peasants’ rights, helps feed people and cool the planet.
