Rethinking EU and Latin America relations: three videos

Three video interviews with representatives from civil society in Latin America

On 19-20 March 2015 CIDSE alongside Grupo Sur, the Act Alliance network, CIFCA and OIDHACO, participated in the EU-CELAC Civil Society Forum in Brussels. This forum is organized every second year in the run up to the EU-CELAC Summit, which brings together Heads of States and government representatives from EU and Latin American countries. It provides an opportunity to exchange views, set priorities and make plans for future collaborations between regions. This year the EU-CELAC Summit will take place on the 10th and11th of June in Brussels; some recommendations about it have already been announced in a press release published on the CIDSE website.

During the Civil Society Forum, Grupo Sur interviewed some representatives from Latin and Central American organizations on the impact of the European Union’s policies in their region, and about their expectations from the next Summit.
