Director of CIDSE Slovak member organisation eRko receives ministerial award

CIDSE congratulates our Slovak member organisation, eRko, and the Director of their Development Cooperation Program, Marián Čaučík, on the reception of a Golden Medal of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs.

Marián Čaučík is also co-founder and former chairman of the Slovak Platform of non-governmental development organizations, and since 1991 the chairman of “eRko” – Christian Children Communities Movement. In 2007 he became the director of development assistance program of eRko called “Dobrá novina,” “Good News”.

Marián, along with Mr David Chaplin of the Canadian International Development Agency, were the first recipients of the new ministerial award “for the work of those who personally contributed to shaping and improving the SlovakAid system”.
