Putting the Paris Ambition Cycle into Practice

As part of the NDC Transparency Initiative, CIDSE, in collaboration with CANSA, Caritas Internationalis and Alliance2015 is organising a series of five webinars aimed at equipping civil society in advancing ambitious climate action through the Paris Ambition Cycle, by influencing their country’s upcoming submission process and implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

Main Objectives: 

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Paris Ambition Cycle and its role in climate governance. 
  • Learn how civil society can actively contribute to shaping and enhancing climate ambition and transparency in the next round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) for 2025. 
  • Discover lessons from the NDC Transparency Initiative case studies and explore innovative approaches to climate data reporting and policy alignment.
